Of Counsel

Aprilia

Vittorio Segantini is an Italian lawyer based in [insert city], and the founding partner of Studio Legale Segantini.

The firm was established in March 2003. After graduating from La Sapienza University in Rome, I began practicing as a qualified trainee in 2001 and opened my own legal practice in 2003. Since February 2016, I have been admitted to the special register of lawyers authorized to appear before the Court of Cassation and higher jurisdictions.

Over the years, the firm has developed a clear identity and focus, particularly in the following areas:

Enforcement proceedings and property law: I provide specialized consultancy in debt recovery and enforcement, including movable, real estate, and third-party executions. With in-depth knowledge of the socio-economic context in the southern areas of Rome, I assist clients with property purchases at auction, and manage both out-of-court and judicial procedures for the release of residential and commercial properties. I also advise on real estate management and serve as a court-appointed delegate for judicial property sales at the Court of Latina.

Business consultancy: I work closely with entrepreneurs on legal strategy, both in and out of court. I provide contract analysis relating to suppliers and customers, with a broad focus on commercial relations—including warranties, contractual obligations, retention of title clauses, credit assignments, guarantees, payment terms, and settlements. I also assist in evaluating procedural options during litigation.

Public procurement: I offer legal support on supplier-public body relationships, including detailed reviews of contract specifications, management practices, and the legitimacy of any penalties imposed.

The firm maintains a strong commercial and civil law orientation, with a focus on legal consultancy and dispute resolution outside the courtroom wherever possible. I prioritize mediation and strategic negotiation over ordinary litigation, when appropriate.

To meet the demands of a fast-changing economic environment, I offer remote legal consultations, reducing the need for in-person meetings. That said, face-to-face discussions remain essential for fully understanding complex matters and may be arranged at the firm or on-site at the client’s premises. All further work can then continue remotely through email, certified mail, and video conferencing.

Together with a team of trusted collaborators, the firm also provides assistance in the areas of succession planning, family law, property and asset management, personal injury, insurance claims, and compensation for damages. Additional support is available through external professionals specializing in labor law and criminal law.
