Valentina Witman is an italian lawyer, qualified at the Court of Appeal in Milano, specialised in fashion law.
Passionate for Rights, rules of commercial law as for world of fashion industries, after her degree in Law, she combined either interests by switching to Intellectual Property and Contract Law specialisation, also getting a Master in Marketing & Communication for Fashion and Cultural Industries.
She started as a graduate in a Labour and employment Law Office, an interesting experience to penetrate into employer – employee relationships and industrial relations.
Then she focused next experience on contract law and IP rights, in the field of Information Tecnology, Industrial Design and Fashion.
In more recent years she has extended her studies and expertise to the topic of sustainability / circularity for the fashion system.
In 2008 Valentina holds a Master in Marketing for cultural Industries at MODACULT, Centre for the study of Fashion and Cultural Production, Milano.
In 2009 Valentina holds a Master in Intellectual Property rights at Just legal Services, Milano; in 2014 she holds a Master in Fashion Law, at University of Insubria, Como.
In 2023 she attended an executive course about Green Fashion, at Fashion Research Foundation, Bologna. In 2007, 2009 and 2021 Valentina was a speaker at International Conferences of Fashion Studies, at University Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milano.
In 2023, she was a speaker at Novara Bar Council, talking about greenwashing.
