Alexander Andreev graduated in law from the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” in Sofia (Bulgaria), has been registered as a lawyer in the Sofia Bar Association since 1993 and is qualified to practice before the Court of Cassation and other higher jurisdictions.
He received a master’s degree in accounting and control from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia.
He is a PhD of private international law at the New Bulgarian University.
He is also the main assistant in International Private Law at the New Bulgarian University in Sofia. He is honorary lecturer at the University of Construction, Architecture and Urban Planning and Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.
Mediator for civil and commercial disputes.
Former Chairman and former member of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Bulgaria.
He has professional interests in civil and commercial law, European Union law, private international law, construction law, and electoral law and electoral systems. He has published articles on these topics.
